Placeables are items that are crafted "in-place" and that are listed in a dedicated section of the Build Menu.
To craft a Placeable item, the player must click on the image of the component in the Build Menu. A ghost image of the component will attach itself to the cursor, and instructions on how to place the ghost image appear in the lower left hand corner of the screen. If the ghost image is red, it cannot be placed where the cursor is pointing. The player must move the ghost image to a different spot until it turns green. Once the ghost image is placed with the Interact Key (by default E), it turns white. By default, Tab ↹ will release the ghost image from the cursor. Pointing the cursor at a white ghost image makes instructions appear in the lower left hand corner of the screen telling the player what resources need to be added to the ghost image with the Interact Key in order to craft it.
