A Log Cart is a large push cart for transporting various items. It can hold up to 11 Wood Logs which allows the player to quickly transport logs to their base location. The Log Cart can also be used to transport up to 2 Stones Crates and 2 Storage Containers at the same time. A Log Cart can also carry one dead animal or four Wood Logs in addition to two Storage Containers. A loaded Stones Crate, however, prevents placement of logs or carcasses entirely.
The Log Cart can also be used to transport the ailing NPC and up to two Storage Containers at the same time.
Storage Containers and Stones Crates should be crafted before they are lifted onto the Log Cart.
The weight of items placed on the Log Cart does not affect its handling in any way.
When the Log Cart is empty or is carrying logs, an animal, an injured NPC or Stones Crates, activating it (default: E) will make the player push the cart. When the Log Cart is carrying Storage Containers, activating it will cause the player to pull the cart because the containers would otherwise block the player's view.
To facilitate finding Log Carts, the position of every Log Cart that the player has crafted is recorded on the in-game Map with a red dot. The red dot will appear even if the Log Cart has not been fully crafted, but only a ghost image of the Log Cart has been placed.
The Log Cart will clip into village houses and should remain parked outside.
