The Greenhouse is a pre-fabricated glass building in which players can grow crops that need protection from cold weather. It can be placed on the ground or on a foundation or ceiling. The temperature inside a Greenhouse is a constant 23 degrees C, regardless of the outside temperature. Crops in a Greenhouse will never die, but they require Water to grow and the player will need to water them. If within range of a Water House that is powered on, the plants inside a Greenhouse are automatically irrigated.
If the player has rescued NPC Mike and assigned the task "take care of plant beds" to him, Mike will water, harvest and replant all crops.
The size of the Greenhouse is 2.75 foundations long and 1.75 wide.
