Clothing Crafting

Multiple articles of clothing can be crafted in the game. The recipes for Clothing are found in the Itempedia section of the Recipe Book under Armor and Clothes.

All Armor and Clothes have 2 key attributes: Heat and Armor.
Armor provides Damage Reduction and Heat is a positive or negative modifier to the body temperature. All Heat modifiers listed here and in-game are displayed in Celsius.

Clothing can be donned by dragging it from the Inventory or from a Clothing Rack to the appropriate slot in the Character Outline. To open the Character Outline click on the head icon in the Inventory. The body temperature is displayed at the top right of the Character Outline and the modifiers to Armor and Heat are displayed at the bottom. In order not to take damage from overheating or freezing, the player must regulate the body temperature by wearing clothing that will provide either cooling or warmth.

Available articles of Clothing and their modifiers are:

Clothing Armor Heat
Armor +14 +4
Yellow Helmet +4 +2
Leg Armor +10 +2
Boots +6 +2
Cap +1 -5
Hat +1 -3 Sun Resistance +50%
Snow Pants +2 +10
Winter Coat +2 +10
Cargo Pants +2 -4

Damage Reduction[]

Every 1 point of armor provides 1% damage reduction per hit with a minimum of 1.

The armor damage reduction is calculated as (Armor Value/100) x damage.
For example:
With a total armor of 20, an attack of 10 damage would be reduced by 2 points (20/100 x 10).
