The Bone Spear is a more advanced version of the basic Stone Spear, dealing 30% more damage and having 40% more durability than the simpler stone version. It can be used as a stabbing melee weapon or as a thrown ranged weapon. The Bone Spear's durability will degrade after each use and cannot be repaired.
To use the Bone Spear the player must first equip it by pressing the number on the keyboard that corresponds to the tools/weapons slot that the Bone Spear occupies in the player's Inventory. To stab with the equipped Bone Spear the player must press 
. To throw the Bone Spear, the player must press and hold Left Ctrl+
to lift and aim the spear, and then press to hurl it. The Bone Spear has no drop when thrown, so the player should aim directly at the target.
The Bone Spear is the 2nd best spear that the player can craft. Other spear versions are the Stone Spear and the Steel Spear.
