Bluegill are a species of fish that is found in the fishing lakes in the center part of the Map. They are the smallest Fish in the game.
A Bluegill can be caught while swimming by aiming at it with a spear and pressing 
to stab it when close enough. Pressing E (default) after catching a fish on the tip of the spear will automatically transport the fish to the regular section of the player's backpack. If there is no room in the backpack, the fish will drop to the bottom of the pond where it can be retrieved later.
The perish time of whole raw Bluegill is 4 hours.
A Bluegill can be harvested by tossing it to the ground and then harvesting it.
Bluegill can also be dried on a Drying Rack to produce Dried Bluegill. This extends the perish time of the fish by an additional 16 hours.
