Repaired ATV with integrated storage container
The ATV is an all-terrain vehicle (otherwise known as a quad bike) which players can obtain when they start a new game. The new game Tutorial instructs the player to repair the damaged ATV at the spawn point. Gas Cans are required to run the vehicle. Two Gas Cans are immediately available at the spawn area of a new game, and finding at least one of them is required to repair the vehicle. Additional Gas Cans can be looted from villages or crafted by using an Oil Distiller.
Once the ATV has been repaired, a purple marker will appear on the in-game Map designating the position of the vehicle.
There is no need to add a Gas Can to the ATV's fuel tank right away after repairing it since the tank will be half full.
Eventually the gas tank will need to be refilled. To do this, open the fuel tank with E, open the inventory that contains a Gas Can, and drag a can to the fuel receptacle of the vehicle's fuel tank.
The ATV doesn't take damage from Animals or Infected, nor is it damaged when it crashes into boulders or Trees.
Mounting the ATV automatically starts the engine. Dismounting from the ATV automatically shuts the engine off.
It is possible to drive the ATV while carrying something. For example, you can pick up an animal carcass and then mount the ATV and drive it.

The instruction to press P if the ATV becomes stuck is in the upper right hand corner of the screen.

The hand brake prevents the ATV from rolling and should be applied whenever the player wants to stop the vehicle.
If the ATV ever becomes so stuck that it cannot be driven or if the player has to leave it somewhere, for example because of the death of the player, the vehicle can instantly be recalled to the player's Garage by standing outside of the Garage, aiming at it and pressing the E key (default).
Cargo[]
After being repaired, the ATV displays an integrated cargo box which looks like and has the same capacity as a Storage Container.

The required resources are to be found in the immediate vicinity of the spawn point.
